What is Cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity refers to protecting networks, programs, devices, and digital information from malicious or unauthorized attacks. It is used by big companies, businesses, institutions, firms, and departments to secure their personal information and internal programs. This is the most reliable and effective source to secure big plans. Usually, hackers attack on businesses to steal money or handle their transaction processes. Or hackers try to get secret information from the systems of other countries or individuals to blackmail them. And use their information in wars or combat. Cybersecurity helps people to secure their secret information from enemies. Different methods or cyber threats are divided into relative types as, Cybercrime refers to the action of a single individual to target or attack on a system to fulfill his desires or blackmail them. Cyber-attack is the process of attacking other systems to steal politically motivated information. It could be from one political party to the other but often this kind of threat happens between countries. Cyber-terrorismĀ Cyberattacks or threats that are meant to cause panic or fear of others are defined as Cyber-terrorism. Spyware is a program that records what a user is doing secretly is called spyware. It is used to record information to use them later. The best example of this is capturing the credit card details of a user to hack his account to steal money by cybercriminals. Adware Hackers used this method to show fake ads on different sites. When a user clicks on that a virus is entered in his system. That could destroy his all programs. This method is defined as Adware. VirusĀ A program is entered into a system that attaches directly to the clean files and got spread in seconds. It could harm all the data on the files and destroy them completely.
